Very easy transaction and great communication with him. Would definitely rent from Cecil again. Thank you! The staff is nice until you go get your parking pass and you tell them no you don't want to take a tour then they get snobby. Use google maps on your iphone to get around if your rental car doesn't have GPS. I cannot say enough about it - HUGE accomodations (2 bedroom). Due to the way the buildings sit you may have one or both. We had a couple issues (one with ice maker in frig) and they were very thorough and quick. We prior to this stayed 2 nights on Disney property. This beats ALL disney. More than enough to do and simply lovely place and within boundaries of Disney. BEST timeshare we have EVER exchanged or rented. One of the best visits we've had to the Orlando area. If you rent a car remember to deactivate your toll counter if you plan to pay your own tolls. The Staff was very helpful, we had a 2/2 unit in Tower 4, 1. Floor overlooking the lagoon, it was beautiful in early am to sit on the Balcony and saw a dozen hot Air ballons rising in the Distance, The Tower is slated to be refurbished but it was still fine and I am picky, Wish we could have stayed longer then a week but will next time ,it is very relaxing There were 4 Adults and two Boys 7 and 1. Vacation. We will definetly return to B. C. One Tip rent thru Red Week it was the cheapest way to go and I will utilize it again in the near Future. We just stayed here . Vacation. We are owners at Sheraton Vistana but due to circumstances beyond our control, we needed to stay at a different resort for the first time in 1. Overall first impression was WOW, this is a fantastic place. We did not expect to check in early but it would have been nice. However, the desk person took my cell number and told us that he would call AROUND 4. PM when our room was ready. We went shopping for groceries and returned at 4: 3. I explained to the desk person that check- in was supposed to be at 4. PM and he only said that the room wasn't ready yet and they were really busy on Saturdays. So then I had to complain about how that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with someone else. He went into a back room and after 5 minutes came out and told us that another room was ready and we could get that one. Not a fireworks view like we requested, but pool view which was just fine. Other than the check- in experience, the resort was first rate. The pools and lazy rivers were nice, and we enjoyed the walks around the lake. My opinion is that the main pools at Sheraton Vistana pools are bigger and you can actually move around. Same with the hot tubs. Also, the Vistana fitness center is better. For a resort as big as BC, the fitness center was way undersized. Overall, I really liked this resort. The rooms were HUGE and the kids had their own bedroom with full size beds. The kitchen appliances were new and even the knife set was high end. The shower/bathroom was enormous. Bottom line: if you have kids, the bedrooms are far enough apart that you won't hear what's going in their rooms and they won't hear what's going on in yours. It feels like a house. I would stay here again. Note: The timeshare pressure was on as usual, but to beat them this time we tried a new approach. Agree to attend right away and then don't show up. It worked great and they never called again. Sounds bad, but those people are relentless and annoying. This is a newer resort and so it looks great and clean. My wife and I are semi- retired and traded for a one bedroom. The unit was very nice and clean and the grounds were also. All buildings were completed except for one. BC has about every kind of water atraction one could ask for. Pools, baby pools, water slides, lazy river and spas. There is even a minature golf course. All part of your stay. BC has their own buses that ran right on time the one time we used it. We have been with RCI since 1. We told them this when we checked in on Saturday. They set us up with a time the next morning any way and I told them we would probably not attend. The phone rang at 7: 4. I did not answer. By the caller ID I could see who it was. By Monday evening they had called three times and each time I told them I did not want to attend. It was at this time that the girl in guest services told me that they will call me every day until I agree to attend and that this was a corporate policy. After that call I unplugged the phones. The high speed was awesome but the sales calls resumed. One day while we were out the caller ID logged 7 calls from them. On Thursday night they called and for some reason I answered and got a lady who promised to mark my account NOT INTERESTED and the calls stopped. The resort is very nice but the sales team is a night mare. Loved our 2. Bdr/2. Ba unit. Very Nice, Higher End Furnishings. Nice pools/slide/lazy river. Outdoor kitchens +. Pushy sales people where u pick up parking pass. But they offer nice incentives for attending presentations. We were fortunate to use a two bedroom unit. They have so much to offer here that you do not have to go to theme parks for fun. I did not have any problems at all while staying here. Here is the real scoop. Pros: unit nice and clean, elevators are fast so waits are short, pools are nice and some are heated, staff is courteous, location is good for the money, service at pool areas was pleasant. Pizza delivery fast and tasty. Timeshare presentation denied with no problem or harrassment. Parking not really close. Food at on site restaurants average. Magic Kingdom is not 3 minutes away on bus, more like 1. Buses in afternoons go 2 hours with no scheduled run leaving the resort so the buses are NOT like the Disney buses and do NOT drop you at the same places, but further away. Rent a car, parking is $1. Dishwashers not effective and washer and dryer are loud and in bad location for second bedroom to be effected by noise. Our garbage disposal and vent hood over the range did not work. We had air in the pipes every day banging and making noise, probably from the construction. We could see the fireworks from our balcony and Epcot and the Boardwalk roofs so the location is good if you have your own car, if you plan on riding the buses pay to be across the street at Disney. The buses were the biggest disappointment for us, so if you plan on renting a car this resort is very viable for a nice vacation. The resort amenities such as the lazy rivers (2) are nice, we spent two days at the resort and enjoyed those days more than Seaworld and Aquatica. It is a beautiful resort. Cost us over 1. 5. We did find a cab company to take us back to the airport for 2. The shuttles to the park are pretty nice, but don't lose your schedule or you might be stuck at a park or you will be getting a cab. Just returned from a stay over Christmas and it exceeded all of my wildest dreams. We were in a two bedroom with a view of the fireworks from Disney Epcot each night, so awesome to be able to walk onto the balcony each night and watch fireworks. Resort is located on Disney property and about a mile from downtown disney and a 5- 1. Disney parks. Has 3 pools and lazt rivers, was kind of cold for us to use the pool areas but they looked great. Staff was extremely friendly and was only asked once, when we checked in to sit in on their time share presentation, politely told them no and was never bothered again. Will never stay anywhere else again when we visit Disney. AWSOME, is one word for this resort. I visited this resort on oct. There is still a lot of construction going on but the buildings are built well and you hardly hear the noise and i was right next to it. The resort only has 3 pools but 2 more are going be built with the finishing of the other 2 buildings. The resort will be finished late next yr they have 2 towers left to finish. The service is very good and its close to everything, downtown disney and the parks are right down the road a bit. Only downside is there is not a onsight resturant yet coming soon tho. The pool areas are nice music all the time and lots of activities. The ongoing construction created floating styrafoam pieces all over the place. No worries, go home and get it in 2. Game room for kids usually crowded, fitness room with treadmills and some weight machines. For us, this was better than our International Drive stays. Can see the. fireworks from your patio from most units. We stayed over New Year's. The staff was friendly and the unit was spacious. With. 3 kids we appreciated that the beds were doubles in the second. The fireworks were AMAZING and we could. Instead we walked. Given this unexpected curve, there. Ordinarily I could see where this would. Since we only. did Disney for one day we really had to go by accomodations in. I'd have to say it was quite a nice getaway with. The jacuzzi in the. That was pretty weird! The. poolside bar was great and had a most enjoyable, friendly staff. The. frozen drinks were great. In the cold snap, they installed heaters so it. There were fun things for the kids to. HAD to participate. It was. kept light and fun. And though we didn't go to it, they had quite a. New Year's celebration for families. Sounded like everyone was having. We agreed to go on New Year's. Eve.. right about the time everyone wants to get out of Dodge. Not. a bad strategy.. The food. was good, and it was pretty cheap! Enjoyed our stay. Having stayed at many locations around the Disney area I was looking foward to trying this. Location can't be beat!!! Our stay was very. The resort is located 5 to 1. The location is. great. Resort staff is friendly and helpfull. Just. don't get miss led, this is not a Disney Resort. It. is just located on Disney property. Which means. they bought land from Disney and built on it. The unit was really nice too- . I would definitely. My family and I just came back from renting two two bedroom units. Except. for two maintenance issues, which were.
